Sports:

The college does not have adequate space for outdoor games but it encourages students who have excelled at the District or state level games. An Annual sports day is organised in the month of December. A proposal for sending interested students for athletic training at the State Govt. sports centre has been approved.

Social:

The college Social organised annually is a platform to showcase in-house talent. |
Educational Tours:
|
The educational tours are organised from time to time by all the Departments to support classroom teaching. Excursions are compulsory for the students of Botany and Geography Departments. Beside the, Lala J.R Das Endowment Fund supports rural visit programmes once in every two years

Seminar/Quizzes/Debates:
|
Classroom teaching is also supplemented by seminars, quizzes and debates, where students get opportunity to interact among themselves and with subject experts in their respective fields. Regular tutorial classes are held in every Departments to enhance the teaching programme. Students are also encouraged to participate in inter-college Debate and other competitions where they have consistently performed well.

Vocational Programs:

In order to equip students for self-employments, curtain vocational courses are conducted in the college premises:-
* Tailoring and Beautician's training by the Jodhpur Women's Polytechnic. This certificate Courses are recognised by the Govt. of West Bengal.

Extension Activities:
|
Our Students are actively involved in various extension activities like AIDS awareness programmes, legal awareness programmes, interaction with the inmates of Old Age Homes. Some of our students also have been specially trained by the experts of Sarbo Shiksha Avijan spreading literacy among nearby slum dwellers.
